CNC Machinist

NxEdge/AceCo is a world class company providing vertically integrated solutions to the Semiconductor market. Our expertise in Precision Machining and Engineering Material Coatings (EMC) allows global leading chip manufacturers and OEM equipment makers to achieve next generation technologies. We are seeking a driven, hands on CNC Machinist to join our ever-growing company and team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read and understand blueprints.
• Operate and setup CNC machines.
• Run multiple machines at the same time.
• Identify needs and improvements in production.
• Tend to one or more machine tools, special-purpose machines, or industrial robots to machine metal work pieces to specification on production basis.
• Lift work piece manually or using hoist; secure work piece in fixture or load automatic feeding device.
• Start machine, engage feed, and observe operation.
• Inspect and measure machined work pieces – using instruments such as present comparator, fixed gauges, calipers and micrometer – to verify conformance to specifications.
• May move machine controls and guides to adjust machine.
• May file, sand, or shape machined parts, using hand tools and power tools.
• May clean machined parts using de-greasing tank or solvent and rags.
• Maintain production quality.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years minimum CNC machining experience or Apprenticeship or College certificate of completion
• Possess basic tools: Micrometer, calipers, indicator and hand tools in a lockable tool box
• Flexible for day or night shift
• Basic computer skills such as e-mailing, opening and printing documents and navigating windows/internet explorer.
• Speak clear English.
• Read and write G&M programming codes.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds by self in safe manner.

Shift: 3:30pm – 12:00am (Swing Shift)
